Smokey is an amazing young heavy wool stud prospect from proven and very successful bloodlines. For example, his two grandsires were the first two studs recognized by ILR as Sires of Distinction. His mom and dad are both ILR halter champions. In his first three shows he has earned 1 Best of Show, 8 firsts in halter, 1 in Futurity, and 5 in fleece-on. He already has 3 Grand Champions and 4 Reserves in Halter and 2 Reserve Champs in fleece to his credit. He has also worked as a therapy llama back stage at 4 concerts and the new public library, plus 2 public hikes. If you want a beautiful fiber llama with outstanding credentials, Smokey just might be your boy. If he wasn't so closely related to rest of our herd, I would be retaining him. He is also a doll to work with!

Heat Wave is a spectacular young silkie male that we would love to retain as a junior herd sire due to his superior qualities plus his outcross bloodlines to many of our females. In his first three shows he has won 6 firsts and 2 seconds, 4 Grand Champions, and 1 Reserve Champ in Halter. He also earned a Best of Show Male nod at the Happy Camper show. In addition he won the Single Coat composite award at the Cascades show and 2nd at Happy Camper. At Oregon State Fair he earned a Grand Champ and a Reserve Champ Single-Coat Shorn Fleece.
He has also worked as a therapy llama back stage at 4 concerts and the new public library, plus 2 public hikes. We love his style and correctness along with exquisite silky fiber. What a herdsire prospect! |
